My reflection
I have been learning to answer questions using complete sentences. I fond this easy because I just needed to copy the first part of the sentence then write my answer. My next step is to never use a one word answer.

I can identify main ideas by skimming and scanning paragraphs. I can summarise the main events in the text. I can identify and determine importance of information in the text.

Solving Multiplication by Spiltting Numbers

My Reflection
I have been learning to solve  multiplication problems by splitting numbers. I found this easy because I now my time tables. my next steps is to learn my basic facts immediately.

Matariki poems

My reflection
We have been learning to write a haiku and an acrostic poem.  My favourite poem to write was the haiku poem because it was easy and fun. These poems are both very different because the haiku poem has 3 lines a 5\7\5  syllable pattern and 17 syllables altogether.   The hardest poem to write was the Acrostic poem because it was hard to find the words.  My next step is to find rhyming words to make my poem rhyme.
